SigmoidActivation#

class SigmoidActivation(input=None, weights=None, **kwargs)[source]#

Bases: object

Represents a sigmoid activation function.

Notes

The sigmoid activation function is defined as follows:

\[a = \frac{1}{1 + e^{-x \cdot w}}\]

where \(x\) is the stimulus representation (vector), and \(w\) is a 2D array of weights, where each row represents an outcome and each column represents a single stimulus.

compute()[source]#

Compute the activation value using the sigmoid function.

Returns:
numpy.ndarray

The computed activation value.
